We started our dog journey in 2003 and have been going strong ever since. We love the breed, the show ring, and all of the planning that goes into breeding. Most of all, we LOVE everyday life with our dogs!! There is nothing better than labradors under your feet and good times in the yard! Memories are made daily with this group! Our goal is to produce Labradors that have that trademark Labrador temperament, are physically and mentally sound, and adhere to the AKC Breed Standard... not to mention beautiful to look at and EASY to live with!! We test all of our breeding dogs for hips, elbows, EIC, PRA, and eyes. Additional, testing is also done for HNPK, Heart, and Long & Curly Coat Gene. We take our breeding program very seriously! We only breed when we have the time and energy to put everything we have into a litter. We produce about 1-2 litters per year on average. We put a great deal of time and planning into choosing the right stud dog and pairing for each litter. We breed first and foremost for ourselves. When becoming a part of the Huckleberry Labrador Family, we are entrusting you with a piece of our hearts. I consider it one of my most important jobs, to find the perfect family for each of my puppies. I love getting to know each of my families and making a connection for a lifetime. Carson
Our #1 puppy socializer, helper, and true puppy lover! Carson has been raised with dogs and puppies and he has a real zest for helping out with litters. His only NO GO JOB is poop pick up!! I guess we can't blame him for that!! He has an eye for a quality dog but it's his heart that usually picks his favorite. Now that he has gotten older, he has started bringing friends by to help socialize and play with the puppies. Your puppy will be socialized beyond what is normal or expected! While at our home they will be introduced to plenty of kids, lots of laughter, loud music, running around, and playing indoors and outdoors. Most of all, your puppy will be so LOVED from the time they arrive!! We can't thank Carson and his buddies for all of the help and chaos!! The puppies are blessed to have him in their early development!
